Honey-Glazed Walnuts

Ingredients
  

  • 200 g walnut halves
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp butter or coconut oil
  • Pinch of sea salt

Equipment

  • 1 Frying pan or saucepan
  • 1 Wooden spoon
  • 1 Baking sheet optional, for cooling

Method
 

  1. Heat honey and butter (or coconut oil) in a frying pan over medium heat until melted and bubbling.
  2. Add walnuts and stir to coat evenly.
  3. Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring often, until walnuts are toasted and glossy.
  4. Sprinkle with sea salt and optional cinnamon.
  5. Spread on a baking sheet to cool and harden slightly.
  6. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.

Notes

💡 Tip: Use as a topping for salads, yogurt, or oatmeal.
⚠️ Note: Walnuts can burn quickly – stir constantly and remove from heat once caramelized.
