Ingredients
  

  • 150 g wood blewits cleaned and sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter or olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2-3 slices rustic bread
  • Salt & black pepper
  • Fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Equipment

  • Frying pan
  • Knife & cutting board
  • Toaster or grill pan

Method
 

  1. Toast or grill the bread until crisp and golden.
  2. Heat butter in a pan and add minced garlic — sauté gently for 30 seconds.
  3. Add the sliced blewits and cook for 5–7 minutes until soft and lightly golden.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Spoon the mushrooms over the warm toasts and garnish with parsley.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes
