  • Small bowl Optional

  5. Strain if desired — or leave the herbs inside for stronger flavor.

Notes

  • Use in warm tea, winter milk drinks, hot lemon water, or by the spoon.
  • Store in a cool, dark cupboard for up to 6 months.
  • Do not heat the honey — this destroys enzymes and reduces benefits.
Safety: Not for infants under 1 year. If pregnant, breastfeeding, or on medication, consult a professional first.

Why This Remedy Works

Rosemary has long been known as a warming, protective winter herb. Its aromatic oils help open the lungs, ease chest tightness, and support circulation.
Combined with raw honey — a natural cough soother and antimicrobial — this infusion becomes a gentle winter tonic that calms irritated throats and strengthens the respiratory system.
The lemon zest adds brightness and mild vitamin C support for dark months.

Tips & Variations

• Add a slice of fresh ginger for extra warmth.
• Use dried rosemary for a more subtle, smoother flavor.
• Add orange peel instead of lemon for a holiday feel.
• Leave the rosemary sprigs inside the jar for stronger aroma over time.

Moon Ritual

Prepare this honey during the waxing moon to support growing strength, vitality, and lung energy.
In folk tradition, rosemary is a protector herb — making this the perfect infusion to create during the cycle of building resilience and inner warmth.
