Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fresh or dried dandelion roots chopped
  • 250 ml vodka, brandy, or other 40% alcohol
  • small piece of fresh ginger or orange peel for flavor optional

Equipment

  • Clean glass jar with lid
  • Fine strainer or cheesecloth
  • Dark glass dropper bottle
  • Funnel optional

Method
 

  1. Clean and chop the dandelion roots into small pieces.
  2. Place the roots in a clean glass jar.
  3. Pour alcohol over the roots until fully covered.
  4. Seal the jar and store in a cool, dark place for 4–6 weeks.
  5. Shake gently every few days to help infusion.
  6. Strain through cheesecloth and pour into a dark glass dropper bottle.
  7. Label and store in a cool, dark place.

Notes

💡 Tip: Typical dose is ½–1 teaspoon diluted in water or tea, once or twice daily.
