Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a bowl, toss apple slices with sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Transfer to oven dish.
- In another bowl, mix flour, oats, sugar, salt, and walnuts. Rub in butter with fingers until crumbly.
- Sprinkle topping evenly over apples.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
- Serve warm with cream, yogurt, or vanilla ice cream.
Notes
💡 Tip: Mix apples with pears for extra sweetness, or add dried cranberries.
