- Toast the bread slices until golden and crisp.
- Heat olive oil or butter in a frying pan. Add garlic and thyme, sauté briefly until fragrant.
- Add sliced porcini mushrooms and cook for 4–5 minutes until tender and lightly browned. Season with salt and pepper.
- Spoon the mushrooms onto the toasted bread.
- Serve warm. Optional: finish with a sprinkle of Parmesan.
