🌲 Scots Pine Needle Tea

A bright, citrus-fresh infusion made from Scots pine needles — rich in vitamin C and forest aroma. A natural winter tonic for body and mind.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp fresh Scots pine needles chopped
  • 250 ml hot water
  • honey or lemon slice for extra brightness optional

Equipment

  • Kettle or saucepan
  • Mug or Teapot
  • Strainer

Method
 

  1. Rinse pine needles and chop lightly to release aroma.
  2. Place in a mug or teapot and pour over hot (not boiling) water.
  3. Cover and steep for 8–10 minutes.
  4. Strain and serve warm, with honey or lemon if desired.

Notes

💡 Tip: Add a few spruce or fir needles for a deeper forest blend.
⚠️ Note: Use only *Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris)* — avoid yew or other toxic evergreens. Not for pregnant women.
